Mellor Brook Community Centre becomes a 1950's dance hall for the night when it plays host to Devon quintet, The Atlantics. Classic 1950s rock n roll and rhythm n blues in honour of Bill Haley, Little Richard, Louis Jordan, Big Joe Turner and Chuck Berry. With guitar, double bass, sax, piano, drums and 4 singers, The Atlantics create a big authentic 1950s sound so guys, hitch up your drainpipes, slip on your winklepickers and comb back the quiff; girls, pull up your bobby sox, twirl the polka dot poodle skirt, lacquer up the beehive and sassy down to The Mellor Brook Milk Bar early to have a go at the free jive workshop before the show.

For all of these events, the Centre will be running a licensed bar stocking a real ale on draught .
Red and white wine will be available by the glass or by the bottle, as will lager and a selection of soft drinks.
