was closed last night but open Wednesday for the A59ers no idea of when it might be opening, no signs etc however lots and lots of work going on including the front door!!!

I see that posters are up in the Feildnes inviting all to a grand opening on Friday 14th august - - Champagne and Canapes........

please will someone tell us what is happening to the Feildens?? No food on Saturday, I believe the pool team had a "kentucky" a couple of weeks ago???

Hi the Feilden's are not doing themselves any favours. Last week they totally let down a group of 26 ladies who were expecting a meal and enjoyable evening. Apparently there wasn't even a chef and the waitresses and some of the ladies themselves, had to prepare, serve the meal and then wash up after. It is time the Feilden's got it's act together and provided the village with a decent and reliable pub/restaurant.

Nobody will be surprised to hear that it appears the current encumbent is thrwoing the towel in at the end of the month. More surprising is that alledgedly new tenant's are already lined up
